I bought several cooling beanies to wear under my riding hard hat. This one is great when the heat index nears 100 - I use it instead of the normal hard hat liner. I highly recommend it and I'm telling all my barn friends to get one

I got the beanie to use under my bike and horse helmets but when we had to unload 11,000 pounds of hay with the temp at 100 and the heat index at 109, my husband and I wore them for the first time to see if they worked. I didn't expect them to keep us cool at temps like that but they certainly helped. I can't wait to try it under my helmets. (Not a pretty picture but unloading hay is not glamorous.)

This product keeps my bald head cool very well as I fish in Galveston Texas in the summer heat .
Tip: buy 2 or 3 of them and rotate them to keep you cool all day .
