The sleeves that the ice packs goes into broke easily

Vest work good. Ice packs routinely leak, making the overall experience unpleasant, needing cleanup, etc. The ice packs leak more if they get largely unfrozen if you stay out in the heat too long. But that's supposed to be the point--to be able to stay out in the heat.

Perfect and worked well for me

I bought 2 vests to wear in a very hot kitchen. They work great. One of the vests got caught on a shelf and the side buckles ripped. It has been repaired. Tip--take your time filling the gel packs so they are not too full. They fit in the vest pockets better if they are properly made.

This saved me on a trip in extreme heat. It stayed cool long after the ice packs melted.
