Smaller, Lighter, and Faster; the New ProLine Off-grid Inverters!
ProLine 8,000 Watt Inverter
As a venerable favorite among off-grid users, Wagan Tech's ProLine series of power inverters have received a considerable makeover. Starting from the ground up, the new 8,000 watt inverter received a new SMT circuit board, a glossy exterior coating on the smaller casing, and a massive weight reduction. The new Wagan Tech Pro Line Inverters; proving that the best can get better!
The new SMT (Surface Mount Technology) circuit boards offer greater reliability, better efficiency, and fewer stray RF emissions over the older PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) and through-hole boards. From there the case volume shrunk almost 54% of the original, and the overall weight was reduced 52%! This makes for one efficient, reliable, beautiful, and lightweight 8,000 watt inverter in a more compact size!
Under the shiny new exterior, you'll find the aforementioned SMT circuit boards and a powerful cooling fan. On the front of the ProLine 8,000 Watt Inverter you will find the manually operated power switch (On/Off) as well as the jack for the remote power switch (included).
4 conveniently stacked 120V AC outlets capable of providing 1500 watts each are well spaced on the right side of the inverter. Just left of the AC outlets, you will find the LED Over-Load and Over-Temperature warning lights and the Voltage and Amperage level indicators. With the stout AC terminal block just below the Voltage/Amperage Level indicators, you can be certain that your investment is well protected.
Rear Component Details
On the backside of the ProLine 8,000 Watt Inverter is the massive cooling fan, the Heavy Duty Solid Mount Positive (Red) Terminal, the Heavy Duty Solid Mount Negative (Black) Terminal, and the Ground-Neutral Bond stud with wing-nut.
Both of the Terminals are now Heavy Duty Sold Mounts and come directly out of the case to make connections easier and to avoid the inevitable 90? bend that the cables make on traditional inverters; causing undue stress and making connections harder. The massive cooling fan is utilized to help keep the inverter cool and operating efficiently.
Wagan Tech builds our inverters with high peak surges that allow up to 3x the continuous rating to support high surging appliances such as tools, microwaves, air conditioners and refrigerators. Wagan Tech uses top quality components and reliable MOSFET transistors - the key factor in reliable inverter manufacturing.
Quick List of Features:
In 1983 WAGAN Corporation entered the market and saw the need for innovation in the automotive accessory business as well as a need for quality products to fit in today's high-tech and busy lifestyle.
During the early 1990's WAGAN introduced the "Wooden Bead Seat Cover" (WBSC) and sold about 4 million pieces each year. The WBSC was distributed everywhere from department stores and retail chains from Sears, The Sharper Image, and Safeway, to convenient stores and neighborhood drugstores.
Gearing towards today's mobile professional, the WAGAN Tech Mobile Consumer Electronics and Power Inverter series are used in vehicles and planes to run electronic appliances as if they are running in a SOHO environment. WAGAN's Power Supply line provides emergency power for household appliances, computers, and fax machines for the unexpected blackouts or simply while traveling.
Now, as WAGAN Tech Line, products are making the consumer driving experience comfortable as well as enjoyable. Our products are making it easier for today's mobile professionals to do their job and fulfill their needs. We are constantly developing new products to tailor the vehicles into tomorrow's high-tech "Office-on-the-Go".
